Mechanical Technician

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance of all Surface Fixed Plant equipment
* Perform maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, grinding mills, gravity circuits, vibrating screens, dewatering systems, dust collectors, ventilation systems, chilling plants, pumps, and more
* Monitor and report on the status of equipment
* Assist with shutdown, coordination, and execution
**Requirements:**
* Current Trade Qualification as a Fitter/Boilermaker combined with experience in Fixed Plant or Underground Mining
* Experience on various types of pumps, valves, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to identify major hazards within assigned tasks and implement the correct critical controls prior to starting any work
* Current manual driver's license
