Our organization seeks a highly skilled Nuclear Governance Leader to establish and maintain effective nuclear governance and assurance processes across the business. This role involves developing policies, processes, and audit plans that meet regulatory requirements.
This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in nuclear governance and assurance to drive business success while upholding the highest standards of safety and security.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance on nuclear governance and assurance best practices
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and audit plans
- Conducting or supporting internal and external audits
- Collaborating with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (Masters preferred)
- Professional certification or membership in a nuclear field
- 10 years' experience in a senior nuclear role (defence/shipbuilding or energy sector)
- Leadership skills and knowledge of nuclear licensing and regulatory requirements
Eligibility for this position includes obtaining necessary clearances and approvals to access sensitive information and technology.
