Are you a skilled project support specialist seeking a challenging role in the public sector?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Program Support Officer and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

As a key member of the Loddon Mallee Maintenance Delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and effective completion of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist project support to program development leads and other team leaders
  • Managing project artefacts, preparing project scopes and briefs, and contributing project expertise to complex projects
  • Developing and maintaining effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Assisting with the compliance of financial and procurement processes

You will also be responsible for promoting and supporting safe, inclusive, and flexible team operations, coordinating and guiding project delivery, defining tasks to meet agreed outcomes, and monitoring progress against plans.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project delivery support roles, preferably in a government context, and be proficient in MS Office packages, Confluence, MS Planner, MS Project, Zycus, Oracle, MS Teams, SharePoint, and other project delivery-related tools.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced delivery environment are essential qualities for this role. A driver's license and willingness to travel and work across locations within metropolitan and regional Victoria are also required.
