Delivery Excellence Manager

This key role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of initiatives across various practices.

The successful candidate will require flexibility and collaboration with external partners to leverage their experience and accelerate delivery.

This role aligns with our focus on simplifying business systems and processes to improve the experience of our people and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure initiatives progress through a common assessment process to prioritize against value, customer, and people impacts, mandatory requirements, and alignment to transformation roadmap.
  • Work out how to best leverage and scale our way of working to fit in with program deliverables that have scope and time frames.
  • Align delivery work to complete in accordance with the Release schedule.
  • Report any concerns, loss events, or incidents of non-compliance to your Risk Specialist/Line Manager.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to blend these together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using tools such as Project Management, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Outcome-driven, with a persistent focus on leveraging technology to drive customer and business value.
