The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Worker to join our team at Bracken House Hostel in Dubbo, AU. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents by providing person-centred care duties.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care and support to residents with dignity and respect
  • Assisting with medication and wound dressing (if qualified)
  • Supporting daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Encouraging residents to continue doing the things they love and enjoy

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards)
  • The ability to provide a wide range of care duties with compassion and empathy
  • A desire to empower residents to live fulfilling lives
  • Care skills driven by a passion for delivering exceptional care
  • Experience in Aged Care (desirable)
  • A Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player who is highly motivated and committed to excellence
  • Availability to work various shifts across different days
