Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in international logistics and experience in managing warehouse operations. They will be responsible for planning, directing, and maintaining an efficient warehouse operation, ensuring compliance with best practices and health & safety legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the efficient utilization of all warehouse space and mechanical handling equipment
  • Meeting quality objectives and minimizing stock loss
  • Collaborating with managers and supervisors to implement initiatives that improve efficiency and service levels
  • Overseeing receipt, inspection, storage, order assembly, and distribution of stock to customers and suppliers

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and schedules related to stock handling and record maintenance
  • Assessing existing equipment and recommending replacements or upgrades to maximize handling efficiency and meet future technological needs
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant warehouse, import, and export logistics experience
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Current forklift license
  • Previous warehouse manager experience
  • Effective management of warehouse operations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
