Job Description

This role plays a key part in the development and delivery of pharmacy education in our Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Medicine / Master of Pharmacy program. As a teaching and research academic, you will be expected to contribute to ongoing research and establish yourself as an independent researcher.

We welcome applications from individuals with either a combined teaching and research focus or an education-only focus. Please refer to the position descriptions for full details on both roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist (highly desirable)
  • PhD in pharmacy or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating the teaching of medicinal chemistry with therapeutics
  • Demonstrated experience in learning and teaching/delivery of courses at an undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, evidence of teaching effectiveness
  • Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate the teaching of pharmaceutical sciences with therapeutics and pharmacy practice
