About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Technology Procurement function, driving strategic category management and sourcing strategies for Optus and Singtel Group.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category and sourcing strategies, working closely with IT and Networks leaders to deliver business value and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive value delivery and ensure governance and compliance within the Procurement department.
  • Develop and implement new contracting practices, sourcing new models, and utilizing industry standards to improve contracting outcomes.
  • Work with Procurement and business to establish and carry out procedures to ensure accurate procurement standards, processes, and controls for Optus Networks and Group IT.
  • Lead the development of strategies and delivery of large-scale outsourced programs within complex matrix organizations.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Senior Procurement roles in matrix organizations with proven specialist experience in contracting, commercial negotiation, and supply chain management.
  • Experience in all aspects of Technology category management and relevant platforms that support this function end-to-end.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive business value and improve customer experience.
