Job Overview

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing front-of-house reception duties, welcoming visitors, and assisting with inquiries
  • Effectively handling telephone and switchboard operations
  • Receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring proper storage
  • Assisting with sign-in/out procedures for students, staff, and visitors
  • Providing administrative support, including word processing, filing, room bookings, and maintaining office supplies

This role requires initiative, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to remain composed in various situations, contributing positively to the efficient functioning of the reception area.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in reception duties, preferably within an educational or child-focused environment
  • Proficiency in managing telephone systems, handling deliveries, and coordinating visitor inquiries
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • First aid certification - HLTAID012
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected challenges
