Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Oncology Fellow to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical trials, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical trials in breast medical oncology under the supervision of senior clinicians.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of multidisciplinary meetings, ensuring effective communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Provide patient care, including assessing patients, determining investigations, and establishing management plans in consultation with consultants.
  • Ensure discharge planning commences early in the process of care for inpatients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in breast cancer treatment, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current or near completion of training in Medical Oncology within the RACP.
  • Interest in breast cancer and experience in clinical trials.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, as well as contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
