The Medical Oncology Fellow role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the multidisciplinary management of breast cancer patients.

About The Role
  • Key responsibilities include fulfilling the accountabilities and responsibilities in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives.
  • To participate in the weekly breast cancer multidisciplinary meeting and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Fulfilling the requirements for this role includes completing or having completed training in Medical Oncology within the RACP, as well as having an interest in breast cancer.
  • This position involves providing inpatient and outpatient care by assessing patients, determining and instigating appropriate investigations; establishing a management plan for patients in consultation with the consultant.
