About the Opportunity

The Justice and Community Manager plays a pivotal role in facilitating prevention and diversionary programs in the Justice and Community fields. This role is responsible for the management of HOPE's Justice and ITC Programs, with the overall goal of leading the human and operational functions of the programs to a high service delivery standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert support and guidance to staff working with high-risk or complex needs clients.
  • Represent HOPE in external and internal forums, working groups, and committees to promote a positive image of the organization.
  • Develop and review programs to ensure accessibility and responsiveness to culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Identify service delivery gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning and development of the service through project involvement, team meetings, and training and development.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the Aboriginal community.
  • Develop networks and partnerships with government agencies, organizations, and specialist organizations to position HOPE for continued growth.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in social work, psychology, health, education, social science, or approved equivalent, with demonstrated experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing operational systems, including planning and allocating resources to maximize efficiency and meet funding deliverables.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated understanding of accountability systems and continuous quality improvement processes.
