Job Summary

The Head of People Strategy and Enablement will act as a commercially-minded strategic leader, supporting the CEO and Owner/Founder in people-led business delivery. This role will drive intelligent people-focused initiatives, responding to the current market and driving the McNab Group into the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Think like an operational leader, with a focus on performance objectives, while being a people architect to support strategies and ensure delivery through people.
  • Understand McNab's DNA, people, and performance, and bring innovative people ideas specific to the culture, needs, and goals, to continue striving for excellence and growth.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to a team of HR/Recruitment/L&D professionals, executing on the ground.
  • Drive technological advancements and performance metrics within the people space, identifying areas of opportunity and responding quickly.
  • Act as a change manager, influencing outcomes by asking the right questions early and knowing appropriate actions to ensure large work groups are on page quickly and can move forward.
Requirements
  • You may not come from a traditional HR background, but have a passion for performance through people.
  • You will be able to demonstrate how past people strategies have contributed to business objectives and performance results, and how you have shown creativity and innovation to address specific needs.
  • You bring strong people skills and a solid foundation in general people-focused practices, guiding and supporting the team while protecting the business from risk.
  • You are a confident and inspiring leader, in line with McNab's values, inspiring through meaningful conversation and creating buy-in.
