About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People Communications to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs team, you will be responsible for leading our internal communications strategy and ensuring that our employees are informed and engaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Lead the design and execution of internal communications campaigns to promote our company culture, values, and initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure that our internal communications efforts are aligned with our external communications strategy
  • Manage and maintain our internal communications channels, including our intranet, email, and social media platforms
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, senior leaders, and external partners
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of our internal communications efforts, using metrics and analytics to inform our strategy
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communications strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders and employees
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform our communications strategy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
