Motorcycle Traffic Response Officer Job Description:

This is a critical role within the team that requires officers to provide first response services to traffic incidents in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to road emergencies and breakdowns along major routes
  • Support Situational Incident Response Teams as needed
  • Work towards ensuring the safety of personnel, motorists, and other related parties while managing critical incidents
  • Operate vehicles for civil maintenance support tasks
  • Collaborate with emergency services and provide roadside trauma care and small compartment firefighting when required

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Hold valid motorcycle and MR drivers' licenses
  • Have extensive experience in motorcycle operations
  • Possess a Construction White Card
  • Be able to work day and night shifts
  • Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Remain level-headed under pressure
  • Hold at least 5 years of incident management experience
  • Hold full working rights in Australia
