Scheduling Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Officer to join our team at Respect Aged Care. As a Scheduling Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient allocation of Home Care Assistants to deliver client care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate rostering requests to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Update and maintain roster changes to reflect client requests and organizational compliance.
- Ensure permanent rosters are published at minimum 2 weeks in advance.
- Effectively manage non-billable hours, including kilometres, overtime, and training.
- Monitor hours worked by Home Care Assistants to ensure compliance with industrial relations obligations.
- Provide high levels of customer service to clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Communicate sensitively and effectively with clients, families, and staff.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and professional standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in scheduling and workforce planning.
- Experience in administration, rostering, and leave arrangements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and data management.
- Proficient in using scheduling software or workforce management systems.
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management protocols, including hazard identification and incident management.
- Proficient computer and information management skills.
- Current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire.
