Business Development Specialist Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development specialist to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional services firm or corporate organization with complex stakeholder management, tender preparation and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tender Preparation and Project Management: Prepare and manage tenders, including coaching lawyers and PAs in contributing to the tender process.
  • Business Growth and Strategy: Work with the MAC BD team to drive the implementation of the MAC business plan and practice priorities, including pursuing growth opportunities.
  • Client Feedback and Insights: Collaborate with BD colleagues to conduct client feedback to continually improve our service offering and gain insights into our clients' business.
About You
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in a professional services firm or corporate organization with complex stakeholder management.
  • Tender Preparation and Project Management Skills: Proven ability to prepare and manage tenders, including coaching lawyers and PAs in contributing to the tender process.
  • Business Acumen and Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
