Job Title: Senior Thermal Engineer

About the Role:
The role of a senior thermal engineer is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our thermal management products. As a senior thermal engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and performing emergency repairs on these products as well as other contracted systems.

Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers, sales managers, distributors, and others within the field.
* Maintain ongoing communication with scheduling teams and departmental management to ensure effective service delivery.
* Respond promptly and professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.
* Perform all work in a safe manner and in accordance with established company safety policies and procedures.
* Assist in ensuring that planned maintenance completion rates are maintained at a minimum of 90%.
* Keep scheduling teams informed of changes to your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
* Maintain the accuracy of customer listings by reporting errors using site change forms.
* Close tasks in Oracle Mobile Field Service (MFS) and complete daily and weekly paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
* Create reports using FieldDB system and ensure regular synchronization.
* Report sales or service leads to the proper department via the correct process.
* Support company vision and management decisions.
* Utilize email and other office-based programs to maintain/enhance communications processes.
* Ensure adherence to all Vertiv processes.
* Maintain company vehicles in a clean and properly maintained state.
* Protect tooling and company property issued.
* Work collaboratively as part of the service team to support business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:
* NVQ Level 1 & 2, or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
* City and Guilds 2078 or 2079 in Refrigerant Safe Handling.
* Subscribed to ACRIB.
* Excellent computer skills.
* Previous environmental service experience.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Self-starter with ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
* Clean valid driving license.
