About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and executing portfolio plans across multi-entity operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract role (6 months) within the Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain Team
  • Responsible for the sourcing and execution of portfolio plans across Mercy Health's multi-entity operations
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to deliver best value outcomes
  • Work across diverse service areas including Hospitals, Palliative Care, Residential Aged Care, and Home Care

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in a sourcing or procurement role
  • Familiarity with strategic sourcing and category management methods
  • Subject matter expertise across Direct Goods / Services Categories
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to establish and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with figures and collecting, analysing, and interpreting data
  • Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions
  • Understanding of Contracts and Legal Terminology
  • Ability to prioritise various projects
  • Influencing skills at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and the ability to prepare reports for executive approvals
