Job Title: Power Generation Expert

As a Generator Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of generator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of generator systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of generator systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues in generator systems, utilizing specialized tools and equipment for accurate assessments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and prepare reports for management review.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and uphold safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical guidance and training to team members and other personnel on the proper use and maintenance of generator systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operations during power outages or emergencies.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and equipment to ensure availability for timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance generator performance and operational efficiency.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to generator failures and emergencies to restore power quickly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must have a US Secret clearance, or an Australian NV-1 clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a generator specialist.
  • Must be a Certified Generator Mechanic.
  • Must be a Certified OEM Generator Operator.
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting small and large generators.

Desired Qualifications:

  • OEM Power Plant Operator Certification.
  • CAT Certification.
