Generator Specialist Role

We provide high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the future of space defense.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of generator systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of generator systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues in generator systems, utilizing specialized tools and equipment for accurate assessments.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and prepare reports for review.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols during all operations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members and other personnel on the proper use and maintenance of generator systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operations during power outages or emergencies.

The ideal candidate is a skilled Generator Specialist with a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of generator systems. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety.

Requirements:
  • You must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • You must have a US Secret clearance, or an Australian NV-1 clearance.
  • You must have a minimum of five years of experience as a generator specialist.
  • You must be a Certified Generator Mechanic (CAT is strongly preferred).
  • You must be a Certified OEM Generator Operator (preferably CAT certified).
  • You must be capable of troubleshooting small and large generators (i.e., Cummins, FG Wilson, Agrrekko, Caterpillar).
Desirable Qualifications:
  • OEM Power Plant Operator Certification.
  • CAT Certification.

This role will be located at our facility in Alice Springs, which spans 4,400 acres with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position requires 100% onsite presence.
