Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Environmental Attendant. As an Environmental Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and waste management systems within our hospital.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and distributing clean and soiled waste bins across departments.
  • Safely handling, emptying, washing, and recording various waste streams.
  • Supporting initiatives aimed at reducing waste and promoting recycling.
  • Operating equipment related to waste management in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Liaising with subcontractors to coordinate waste management services.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to staff and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or customer-facing environment is desirable.
  • A basic understanding of safe waste handling practices is essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
