Job Summary

  • Promote a culture of safety across all projects by leading and guiding others.
  • Design mechanical engineering solutions, including pumping, piping, and structural components, to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and industry best practices for design excellence.
  • Utilize advanced engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Advance Steel, Plant 3D, SPACE GASS, Pipe Flow Expert, or AutoPIPE, to streamline the design process.
  • Conduct thorough engineering audits and reviews, prepare comprehensive reports, and deliver engaging technical presentations to stakeholders.
  • Manage multidisciplinary projects, overseeing project correspondence, documentation, estimates, and collaboration with clients and vendors.
  • Participate in both onsite and office-based work throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with senior, principal, and RPEQ engineers to enhance quality engineering services and drive professional growth.

About You

  • A recent Mechanical Engineering graduate with a strong passion for applying theoretical knowledge to real-world mining and heavy industrial solutions.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical ideas.
  • Familiarity with engineering software is a plus, but not necessary.
  • A Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree recognized by Engineers Australia or working towards recognition.
