Aboriginal Community Liaison Specialist

This role involves providing advice and support to commands in the management of local Aboriginal issues. The successful candidate will work closely with Elders, Leaders and members of the Aboriginal community to develop network contacts and strengthen co-operation and communication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice and support to commands on local Aboriginal issues;
- Developing and maintaining close personal rapport with Elders, Leaders and members of the Aboriginal community;
- Assisting in establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the Aboriginal community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and heritage, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A current driver's license is also essential for this role.
