Job Title: Grain Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Grain Logistics Specialist to join our team at the Forrestfield site. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our grain receival and storage area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and control the day-to-day functions of the Weighbridge and Silo Storage Area
  • Be responsible for the receipt of all incoming grain, operation of the weighbridge and recording all grain and finished product movements
  • Monitor and control the quality of incoming grain, carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues to the Quality Assurance Department
  • Undertake ongoing Operational Preventative Maintenance on oat receivals and storage equipment

Requirements:

  • Experience in production (agriculture, food, grain handling industries preferred)
  • Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices requirements and work standards
  • Current Forklift operator certificate (or willingness to obtain)
