Grain Services Specialist

The Grain Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing administrative functions related to grower pricing and contracting in Eastern Australia.

  • Managing enquiries from growers and consultants
  • Processing contract washouts at the conclusion of each delivery period
  • Conducting regular liaison with Regional Managers, Grower Service Centre, and Trading teams on contract and pricing matters
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with grower brokers and consultants
  • Collaborating with the Trading team on price discretion processes
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Providing input to projects as required

Key Skills and Experience:

Strong attention to detail, excellent customer focus, and ability to work effectively within a small team environment are essential.

In addition, the successful applicant should possess:

  • Significant experience in grain contracting and administration
  • Good knowledge of the Australian grain industry
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information securely
  • Highly developed organisational and administrative skills, along with capacity to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work autonomously and from a satellite office
