This role requires a skilled and experienced care professional to lead our team during non-business hours. As the AHS Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Care: Deliver outstanding resident care by ensuring timely and effective responses to their individual needs.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and oversight to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for each resident in collaboration with the care team.
- Medication Management: Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to relevant standards and guidelines.
- Family Communication: Maintain open communication channels with residents' families or legal guardians, keeping them informed about their loved ones' care and progress.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and critical incidents, minimizing risk and ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff alike.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.
- Grade 5, Registered Nurse.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Proven expertise in medication administration, wound care, and care planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
