We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to our mission.

POSITION OVERVIEW

In the role of Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take charge of planning and executing the technical deliverables related to the integration and maintenance of complex systems and infrastructure. You will also serve as a technical advisor to Engineering Management, with expectations to mentor and guide junior Electrical Engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the technical assessment of operational systems, equipment, and infrastructure to support optimization and enhancement initiatives.
  • Assist in project design requirements, encompassing programming, scheduling, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Convert strategic directives from Engineering Management into actionable solutions for intricate technical challenges.
  • Propose process enhancements based on program and customer needs.
  • Mentor junior engineers throughout project execution within the same discipline.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Maintain compliance with all environmental health and safety protocols.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience is essential.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience within the defense sector, design engineering, manufacturing, construction, or technology is preferred.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Must be an Australian or US citizen.
