Heavy Rigid Driver with Crane Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Rigid driver to join our team. As a Heavy Rigid driver, you will be responsible for delivering building and landscape products to residential and construction sites, conducting site assessments, and using a mobile device to assist with planning and delivery routes.

In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting maintenance as required, adhering to road safety laws at all times, and ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability. The ideal candidate will have a current HR license and a Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) class High-Risk Work license, although we would consider training for the CV license if needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current RMS driver's record printout
  • A current and valid HR license
  • A Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) class High-Risk Work license (or willingness to complete training)
  • Forklift license (preferred)
  • Good working knowledge of Sydney's road network, preferably in the Northern Beaches and surrounds
  • Physical fitness for heavy lifting (up to 20kg)
