Job Title: Maintenance Team LeaderCrew Maintenance Team Lead PositionThe Crew Maintenance Team Lead will lead and work alongside a small team to execute assigned maintenance tasks on storm water treatment devices and drainage infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources/materials for task completion
  • Assist with the development and review of plans and maintenance schedules
  • Detect defect causes in assets to propose effective and prompt solutions
  • Use technology/software for basic administrative tasks

Specifically, this position will have you performing general laboring and operating duties including:

  • Using hand tools and other equipment to clear rubbish and debris from end of line devices
  • Operating an excavator
  • Maintaining work orders and other associated documentation
  • Leading the team on site every day

About You:

Ideally, you'll have recent hands-on experience in a similar position undertaking maintenance involving drainage assets with some experience leading people previously. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders are essential. Proven ability to perform manual tasks in safety-oriented environments is required.

You should hold a current truck license (minimum medium rigid - MR), Certification in the Operation of Excavator (LE), a Construction Induction card, a Traffic Management Implementation license, and a high risk work dogging (HRW DG) license. A Certificate III in Civil Construction or a similar qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable.
