
Experienced Automotive Inspector Wanted

We're seeking an experienced Roadworthy Mechanic/Inspector to join our dynamic team and contribute to ensuring every vehicle we sell is in top condition. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting and certifying vehicles for roadworthiness, guaranteeing our customers drive away in only the safest, most reliable vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance.
- Roadworthy Certification: Perform required roadworthy checks and ensure all vehicles meet necessary compliance standards before delivery.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs, including brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and suspension work.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow and high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and certifications completed.
- Quality Control: Perform final checks and quality control before vehicle handover to ensure top-quality delivery
- Roadworthy Certification: A valid RWC licence is highly desired – to perform roadworthy checks.
- Mechanical Expertise: Proven experience as a Roadworthy Mechanic with strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
- Attention to Detail: You have a sharp eye for identifying issues and defects, ensuring every vehicle is fully compliant and ready for our customers.
- Problem Solving: You enjoy diagnosing and solving mechanical issues, and you're confident in performing repairs.
- Team Player: You work well with others and are committed to maintaining a positive, productive team environment.
- Communication Skills: You communicate clearly, whether with team members or customers, ensuring everyone's on the same page.
- Qualifications: Formal automotive qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology) and/or current RWC Licence are essential.
- Trade qualification (Australian Apprenticeship)
- Additional Skills (Bonus): Experience with electrical diagnostics, air conditioning repairs, and other specialized skills are highly regarded
