About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Social Worker to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's Health Australia. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to clients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide expert clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including government agencies and NGOs, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects that enhance the mental health service.
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Proven experience in complex mental health assessment, care, and discharge planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's license or equivalent.
