About the Opportunity

The NSW Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a key member of our specialist mental health team, you will be responsible for providing advanced evidence-based, strengths-focused, and recovery-oriented assessment and treatment of mental health services.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to enhance youth mental health pathways and services, developing referral pathways and ensuring timely transition of care between partner services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced evidence-based, strengths-focused, and recovery-oriented assessment and treatment of mental health services
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to enhance youth mental health pathways and services
  • Develop referral pathways and ensure timely transition of care between partner services
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification/registration in one of the disciplines: Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Senior Psychologist, Social Worker, or Clinical Midwife Specialist
  • Demonstrated experience providing advanced evidence-based, strengths-focused, and recovery-oriented assessment and treatment of mental health services
  • Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy and practice of consumer's families and natural supports participating within the treatment process
  • Demonstrated skills in clinical leadership and clinical supervision within a multi-disciplinary treatment setting
