Job Title: Food Services Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Food Services Assistant at St Vincent's Care Services Bronte. As a member of our experienced and engaged team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional care experience for our residents.

About the Role:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment is preferred, with a focus on providing high-quality food services outcomes for residents, customers, and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail are essential.
  • Flexibility to work morning and/or afternoon shifts across the week is required.
  • Ability to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries, and other tasks as needed to provide an excellent food service for our residents.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team are necessary.
  • Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities is also required.
  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations and a National Police Certificate are mandatory.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
