Food Services Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our Catering Department as a Food Services Assistant. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality food and beverage services to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distribute and collect patient meals
  • Prepare food and beverages
  • Plate and heat meals
  • Clean duties and use of industrial dishwasher
  • Deliver meals to various wards and deliver morning and afternoon tea
  • Ensure accurate and current data relating to patients' bed and nutritional status
Requirements:
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate (HLTFSE001)
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Previous food service industry experience
  • Track record of providing excellent service and customer experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate a great work ethic
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work rotating roster across 7 days
