We are a global leader in protein snacking, and we're seeking a skilled professional to manage logistics, warehouse, and distribution strategies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will oversee 3rd party provider service levels to maintain high customer service standards across Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory records through tracking, cycle counts, reconciliations, and master data analysis. They will also perform inventory reconciliations and variance reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring stock traceability by maintaining detailed records of inventory movements.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels. Experience in logistics, distribution, and imports/exports is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Warehouse Management systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Cycle Counts & Stocktakes: Plan and execute regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Inventory Management: Perform inventory reconciliations and variance reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Supplier & Customer Relations: Manage service levels and agreements with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with transportation companies to arrange the collection and delivery of goods to customer and 3PL sites.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in the APAC Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align inventory and logistics strategies with business needs.
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational corporation with operations in the Asia Pacific region.
- Proven experience in logistics, distribution, and imports/exports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Warehouse Management systems.
