Early Learning Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Early Learning Nutrition Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is committed to designing and preparing nutritious, child-friendly meals that meet dietary requirements and inspire healthy eating habits.

The successful candidate will work closely with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education, building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 120 children daily
  • Catering to a variety of dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
  • Collaborating with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Ordering, managing, and rotating stock efficiently

Requirements include:

  • Experience as a Chef/Cook, ideally in childcare, school, or similar environment
  • Certificate in Food Handling/Safety (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition for children
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to children's wellbeing
