We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Integrity and Security Officer to join our team at The State of Queensland. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and implement information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures aligned with Queensland Government information security requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments for QRO information systems and processes using the Treasury risk management framework.
  • Collaborate with QRO management to develop and implement risk treatment action plans.
  • Monitor completion of actions, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and make recommendations for further improvements.
Requirements
  • Experience applying information security and compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ASD Essential Eight, CIS, and ISO/IEC 38500 in an organization.
  • The ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective risk treatments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Effective negotiation of mutually beneficial outcomes.
