About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to support strategic solutioning across key security and compliance projects.

This role focuses on aligning initiatives with critical security standards and certifications, ensuring that security architecture meets both regulatory and business requirements.

You will be a trusted advisor, guiding projects such as certification, data retention, third-party risk management, PCI compliance, and technology/information security strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security solutions for strategic initiatives, including certification, data retention, and PCI compliance projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements and integrate them into solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate third-party security frameworks to ensure alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead efforts to establish secure data retention practices in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure PCI and other relevant compliance requirements are integrated into all applicable processes, working closely with the technology and information security teams.
  • Architect and design secure systems and networks to support the organisation's security posture, balancing performance with cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential security risks associated with new technologies and partnerships.
  • Support certification efforts by contributing to the security architecture and ensuring alignment with the organisation's broader security goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in a security role or similar, with a focus on compliance-driven security initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
  • Experience in data retention strategies, risk management, and third-party risk evaluation.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing secure architecture solutions that align with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Familiarity with information security principles, security technologies, and secure network architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • A proven track record of success in security roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • An in-depth understanding of security frameworks, including PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
  • Experience in data retention strategies, risk management, and third-party risk evaluation.
  • The ability to design and implement secure architecture solutions that align with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Expertise in information security principles, security technologies, and secure network architectures.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
