Job Description

This role involves managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure in schools, providing support to staff and students, and administering complex enterprise environments.

You will be responsible for overseeing the management of ICT systems across Department of Education schools, including server environments and networks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in Hyper-V virtualization administration
  • Administration skills for Windows and Linux-based servers
  • Cloud service administration experience (Google Workspace & Microsoft 365)
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment and administration expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking (Cisco & HP switching)
  • Cisco wireless technologies understanding
  • SOE and image deployment, with advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting large fleets of desktops and notebooks
  • Experience with 1:1 and BYOD device planning, deployment, and management
  • Strong technical documentation skills
