This position is a key component in the development of our Starship Tower project. The Starship Tower is designed for fully reusable transportation to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
The Automation and Controls Specialist role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to advance the commercial space industry.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintaining operational capability of control voltage level electrical systems
- Developing and upgrading data acquisition and control systems
- Providing technical support and guidance to controls technicians and other non-controls engineering groups
- Leading shifts of technicians and/or contractors efficiently
- Creating new hardware and processes to enhance capabilities, cost, and setup time of ground support electrical systems
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in a controls technician or specialist role
