Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwife to join our team as a Clinical Midwifery Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients, mentoring and supporting junior staff, and contributing to the development of our midwifery service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient
- Mentor and support junior staff, helping them to develop their skills and confidence
- Contribute to the development of our midwifery service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:
- Registered Midwife with AHPRA
- Post-registration qualification and minimum three years full-time equivalent post-graduate experience in midwifery continuity of care/caseload/MGP practice
- Proven competence in advanced midwifery skills, including perineal suturing, cannulation, maternal and neonatal resuscitation, and speculum examination
- Current NSW full driver's license and willingness to use for work purposes
