Early Childhood Educator and Care Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educators and Care Specialists to join our team at our 13 Education and Care Centres across the Local Government Area. These casual positions will involve caring for and educating children from birth to thirteen years of age.
Key Responsibilities- Providing high-quality care and education to children, including planning and implementing engaging activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Working collaboratively with other educators and centre staff to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of all children.
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care, such as a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working in an early childhood education and care setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary package, including:
- An hourly rate of $27.60 (Grade 2) or $28.49 (Grade 3), plus 11% superannuation.
- A 25% casual loading.
