Speech Pathology Position

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work with individuals with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving the lives of NDIS participants by conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions.

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
  • Provide therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills and overcome challenges
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for NDIS participants
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and reports
  • Educate and support families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Good knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and treatment approaches
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and adults with disabilities
