The role of Deputy Principal is a pivotal position that requires a highly motivated and dedicated leader to oversee the educational outcomes of students, develop the quality of teaching and learning, and nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community, and stakeholders.
Job DescriptionThis role involves leading the prep cohort and progressing the Early Years Reading Inquiry, working in a large, highly motivated leadership team dedicated to being precise and inspirational. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on improving student outcomes, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and fostering positive relationships among students, teachers, the community, and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Assist the Principal in leading the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
