With a strong operational background and 5-10 years' experience in all facets of import/export freight, including RORO and out-of-gauge cargo, you will be an integral member of the management team. As a key player, you will be accountable for managing and mentoring a small team, ensuring the smooth operation of the Brisbane branch and supporting its continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a small operations team across import/export/sea and airfreight
  • Coordinate and manage operational requirements for all import/export shipments, working closely with overseas partners and key customers
  • Maintain specific KPI tasks and monitor performance of all suppliers, including shipping lines, airlines, vendors, and overseas agents
  • Evaluate, assist, and maintain SOPs, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
  • Assess and report on financial results and operational performance, ensuring department profitability
  • Play a key role in customer implementation, development, and retention

To succeed in this role, you will be a dynamic and client-focused team player who promotes a positive working environment, displays highly developed communication skills, and possesses strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role or solid import/export operations experience gained within an international forwarding environment is essential.
