Citi's Risk Management organization oversees risk-taking activities and assesses risks independently of the front line units. We establish and maintain the enterprise risk management framework to identify, measure, monitor, control and report material aggregate risks.

Job Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber professional to fill the Director, Market Risk Senior Group Manager position based in Sydney, Australia. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple teams and overseeing market risk across various portfolios.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing market risk across diverse portfolios
  • Identifying, monitoring, and analyzing risks in specific portfolios
  • Developing solutions to mitigate risks
  • Analyzing standard loss measures and risk return metrics
  • Reviewing scenario analysis to assess potential financial impact

This role also offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with business/functional line management, risk, and finance groups, as well as represent the company on critical regulatory matters as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our Risk Management organization.

Key Requirements

  • 15+ years relevant experience
  • Subject Matter Expert in financial instruments, risk metrics, and Market Risk Management
  • Expert analytical, technical, and quantitative skills
