**Risk Management Expert Sought**

A seasoned risk management professional with expertise in technology and cybersecurity is needed to lead our team's efforts in managing and mitigating risks.

This critical role plays a key part in shaping a strong risk-aware culture across the business, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices are embedded and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for technology and cybersecurity risk reporting, incident management, controls design and testing, and compliance obligations.
  • Drive the implementation of key programs across regulatory change, business continuity, resilience, information security, and cyber risk management.
  • Support clients with annual vendor regulatory compliance reviews and assessments.
  • Liaise with Internal and External Audit teams, as well as Group Risk and Group Information Security functions.
  • Role-model and promote best-practice risk culture across the business through leadership and influence.
  • Act as trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on day-to-day risk decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 IT risk/controls role, preferably in banking, financial services, or professional services/advisory industries.
  • Strong knowledge of IT risk frameworks, governance, and terminology.
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into practical business outcomes and solutions.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP (desired).
