Game Development Software Expert

This role is for a skilled software engineer who will work with a diverse and passionate team in the development of internal and shared tools that empower all developers and collaborators to make the best game experiences for our players.
As a software engineer on the Sydney Core Tech team, you will design, build, and maintain software systems with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of team practices. Additionally, you will write clear documentation and communicate technical details across disciplines.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years experience in professional software development, professional experience and proficiency with C++, and a strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals. The candidate should also be proficient in Mandarin and English, have experience with Backend Services Integration, knowledge/experience working in game development, experience using Unreal Engine, and familiarity with Teamfight Tactics.
The key qualifications for this role are: 1) deep knowledge of software engineering fundamentals; 2) experience with C++ and game development; and 3) ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
