Job Summary

This role involves developing efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/.NET.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging and enhancing Unity integration with the server in conjunction with Unity experts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/.NET (predominantly C# 10+, .NET Standard 2, and .NET 6+).
  • Collaborating with PHP experts to develop API and reporting solutions that support multiplayer servers.
  • Possessing knowledge of multiplayer concepts and identifying and resolving concurrency, locking, queues, and race conditions.
  • Improving server efficiency using necessary technologies such as caching, queuing, and automation.
  • Assisting in monitoring and debugging servers and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Over 2 years of experience working with C#/ .NET in a relevant multiplayer project.
  • Understanding of supporting technologies such as socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment; preferable development of solutions in Unity.
  • Experience with cloud hosting and deployment, preferably using AWS.
  • Knowledge of source control (preferably GIT) and JIRA.
  • Preferable knowledge of MySQL, memcached, and Redis.
